Who We Are
The New Horizon Fund is the loan program of the Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology (FAAST). This service is funded through the Rehabilitation Services Administration and the Florida Department of Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. The program offers Floridians with disabilities credit opportunities while purchasing equipment and items that will improve their overall quality of life.
One of the two components of the New Horizon Fund is an assistive technology loan program through which consumers can purchase all sorts of assistive technology including adaptive computers and software, low vision aids, and adaptive recreational equipment. The New Horizon Fund’s other component is a home based business loan program through which consumers can purchase business equipment including computers, office furniture, and other business related purchases.
