The Nominations & Appointments Review Committee of the FAAST Board of Directors seeks to recruit a qualified diverse pool of applicants for the FAAST Board of Directors Advisory Council.   A majority, not less than 51 percent, of the members of the advisory council, shall be members who are individuals with disabilities that use assistive technology or the family members or guardians of individuals with disabilities (for your convenient reference and for more information on the composition and representation of the Advisory Council see link to the Assistive Technology Act of 2004,  http://www.rehabnetwork.org/assistive_tech_Act/atact04_pass_senate.htm.   In accordance with disability civil rights laws and regulations, persons needing reasonable accommodations to complete the Application for Membership on the FAAST Board of Directors Advisory Council please contact FAAST headquarters at 1-888-788-9216 and we will be happy to assist.
