FAAST puts AT into the user’s hands by providing demonstration centers where the user can interact with the technology. By using a FAAST center, consumers learn about AT that will enable them to work, play and live independently.

REGIONAL DEMONSTRATION CENTERS

• Are established through an annual contract.
• Are willing to provide in-kind services to the program.
• Are responsible for Satellite partners within the geographic region.
• Have a non-profit 501 (c) 3 status.
• Have established a capacity to provide and electronically track information & referral.
• Have the capacity to conduct community based training on site.
• Maintain accessible parking, office and training space.
• Provide professional and experienced management staff.
• Employ two or more staff members.
• Have the ability to accept charitable donations.
• Maintain hours of operation from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
