Community Living Resource Guide

This guide is intended to help Floridians with disabilities find the resources that they need to live independently in their communities.  Included are many statewide programs that are intended to help with this goal.

After reading the descriptions of these programs, please contact the local office of the program that best fits your needs.  Many organizations require you to meet certain income levels in order to qualify for their programs.  Oftentimes, this number is at or under the federal poverty, or at a certain percentage above the federal poverty level.  The 2005 federal poverty guidelines are included in this guide.  Consult these charts to see if you meet the income limits, but be aware that there are often other factors taken into account when determining eligibility, and meeting the income eligibility threshold does not guarantee acceptance into these programs.
